Just last night, the York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, honored legendary musical theatre writing team Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt (The Fantasticks, I Do! I Do!, 110 in the Shade, Celebration) with the 2017 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at the 26th Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala.

The New York premiere of the film HELLO AGAIN took place on Monday night, November 6, at Cin polis Chelsea in NYC.

Jay Armstrong Johnson's Not So Scary Halloween Party is back by popular demand after a sold out party in 2016. Rep Stage, the professional regional theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), continues its 25th season with Lanie Robertson's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, directed by Danielle A. Drakes and music direction by Wil Lewis III.

Devastating news is reported out of Las Vegas this morning. According to reports, 50 people were killed Sunday night after a gunman opened fire during the city's Route 91 Harvest Festival.
