On May 24th the fourteen finalists of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition competed in a televised event broadcast on Nine PBS. Students vied for $50,000 in college scholarships, cash awards and special prizes.

Fifty high school acts will move on to the Semi-final round of the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation's (FoxPACF) 11th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Storytelling Arts of Indiana is pleased to host the newest offering in the Frank Basile Emerging Stories series, “The Sunny Side of Virginia Street: Kitchen-table stories & musical memories,” told by Christina Jones on November 8, 2020 online via Zoom. 

A video created by students at the Berklee College of Music is going viral. The group created a virtual orchestra, performing 'What the World Needs Now' while remaining socially distanced.

Otherworld Theatre will presents two productions, being nicknamed The Greeks, classic myths retold through a modern feminist lens. Corona, a world premiere written by Elizabeth A. M. Keel and Medusa Undone a Midwest premiere written by Bella Poynton, both directed by otherworld Artistic Director, Tiffany Keane Schaefer. Corona runs April 5, 2019 - May 18, 2019. Performances begin July 19, 2018 and will run through August 4, 2018. All performances of Where We Go Together or The Flashlight Play will be held at Nox Arca Theatre, 4001 N. Ravenswood Ave #405.

On Saturday, April 28th, 15 metro area high school acts brought the crowd to their feet when they performed on stage at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition Finals.  Students competed for more than $40,000 in college scholarships, cash awards and special prizes.

On Sunday, March 25th, 45 metro area high school acts competed in the Semi-final round of the 8th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition.  St. Louis performing arts professionals judged the performances and narrowed the field to 15 acts (28 individual finalists) who will move on to the finals on Saturday, April 28th at 8pm at The Fabulous Fox Theatre (a list of acts can be found here).

Unable to see AMERICAN IDIOT in New York City, I am so happy that the Third National Tour finally brought the show to Houston, TX. This lively, youthful cast owns every moment of this explosive and exhilarating AMERICAN IDIOT, and I can't imagine any other cast performing this rollicking, raucous piece as well as they do. Every human on the stage gives this show everything they can, and the end result is something I'll cherish for years to come.
