Star Search Grand Champion Sam Harris Hosts Cabaret at the Columbia Club Master Class, 1/14

The-Cabaret-at-the-Columbia-Club-Presents-Master-Class-with-Star-Search-Grand-Champion-Sam-Harris-114-20010101

Sam Harris, Star Search Grand Champion and Broadway star, will work one-on-one with participants in this intimate and supportive class designed to help participants delve more deeply into a song and strengthen thier live performance. He will provide insight and coaching in such areas as lyric interpretation, phrasing, connecting with the audience and acting, in order to help to bring the story of the song to its greatest potential.

Even if participants don't sing for Sam, they will learn valuable skills from watching Sam work with others.

The afternoon will include an interactive question and answer session with Sam, providing a unique opportunity to ask the questions and gain insight about what it takes to make it as a performer.

Master Class Time: Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM

Classes are free and open to the public from high school aged students through adults.

*An accompanist will be provided. Songs should be memorized. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. No accompaniment CD or tapes please.

Class size is limited. Contact Mackenzie Travers, info@thecabaret.org or call 317.275.1169 to register.
